Shallot Oil
Ingredients
- 1 Bulb of Shallot
- 1/4 Cup Olive Oil for Frying
Directions
- After peeling, cut the shallot in half lengthwise.
- Laying the shallot cut side down, cut crosswise into thin slices.
- Add olive oil and shallots into cooking pot.
- Cook over low to medium heat for 10-15 minutes. Once the shallots turn golden brown, turn off the heat.
- Let shallot oil cool and transfer to a clean jar with lid.
Food Safety
- Discard any oil remaining after 7 days.
