This is a very delicious homemade chocolate chip cookie recipe that tastes similar to the ones sold at the Famous Amos cookie shops. When I lived in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, my favorite cookie shop was Famous Amos. I loved the smell of freshly baked chocolate cookies in the air. I was so happy to visit Kuala Lumpur 2 years ago and bought so many bags of cookies before I left. Recently, I tried a recipe that has gone viral in Malaysia. With this recipe, you can have homemade chocolate chip cookies and even have enough to share with friends!
Can the cookies be customized?
Definitely! I love doubling the recipe to make multiple flavors like white chocolate macadamia nut, adding dark cocoa powder or matcha powder with white chocolate chips.
Do you need a mixer?
Having one certainly makes the job a lot easier. I use a kitchen aid mixer for this chocolate chip cooking recipe. You can also mix it by hand with a spoon.
