Air Fryer Roast Pork Belly

Cast iron skillet with thick slices of roast pork belly


  • 1 1/2 lb pork belly (skin on)
  • 1 1/2 tsp five spice
  • 1/4 cup of salt
  • Hoisin Sauce (for dipping)


  1. Pat dry pork belly and rub with 1 1/2 tsp of five spice.
  2. Put pork belly in the air fryer basket with the skin side facing up.
  3. Spread 1/4 cup of salt evenly onto the skin.
  4. Bake at 375° for an hour.
  5. Remove the layer of salt.
  6. Bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, until golden brown.
